Kuih Semperit
Ingredients:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup custard powder
- 2 cup cornstarch
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 110ml Ayam Brand™ Santan Superlight
- 1-2 spoon pandan extract
- Topping of your choice - palm sugar/cheese/jam/chocolate sprinkles
Preparation:
- In a bowl, mix the flour, custard powder and cornstarch. Set this flour mixture aside.
- In a separate bowl, combine the butter with sugar.
- Pour in coconut milk into the butter into the butter mixture. Add the pandan extract as well. Mix well.
- Pour in the flour mixture into the coconut milk and butter mixture bit by bit. Mix well until it becomes a dough.
- Using a piping bag, pipe the dough to the shape that you like.
- Bake for 25 minutes at 180c.
- You may top with shredded palm sugar or cheese or jam to your liking when it is still hot.
