Pulled Chicken Nasi Lemak

Pulled Chicken Nasi Lemak

Ingredients for Rice:

  • 3 cups rice
  • 3 cups water
  • 200ml Ayam Brand™ Coconut Milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 shallot
  • 5 pandan leaves
  • 1 lemongrass

Side Dish:

  • 1 can Ayam Brand™ Pulled Chicken Hot Chilli 150g
  • Sambal
  • Fried anchovies
  • ½ halfboiled egg
  • Sliced of cucumber

Preparation:

  1. Rinse the rice until the water is clear and drain.
  2. Add the rice into the rice cooker.
  3. Pour in water, coconut milk, and salt.
  4. Add the shallot, pandan leaves, and lemongrass.
  5. Stir lightly to mix.
  6. Cook using the normal rice cooker function.
  7. Once cooked, remove the pandan leaves, lemongrass, and shallot.
  8. Fluff the rice gently.
  9. Heat up the pulled chicken separately and serve it as a side dish with  egg, cucumber, sambal and fried anchovies.
